It was an amazing evening, a dream come true for me and my friends who traveled to Hollywood California to attend this Awards Ceremony and Gala.
I’d met Barbara before after a play in 2003, but this was much more personal, and special. We chatted, we laughed, we had pictures taken. I really did feel like Cinderella! At one point when we were having a photo taken she said “oh I blinked!” And I replied “but that is what you do best!”
She also showed me the proper distance us ladies should stand back for the photo so it looks just right! She is a professional after all, she photographs so beautifully.
Barbara’s husband Jon was an absolute delight! And you can tell that Barbara is the Apple of his eye. What an amazing couple. I’d never think I’d attend such a spectacular event and be spending such a special time with Jeannie herself!
