This bottle was a custom order, painted on the 1973 Jim Beam Whiskey blue glass decanter.
I meticulously masked off certain areas of the bottle before painting the base coat so the bottle can capture the light through the beautiful blue glass.
They wanted an Egyptian style “eye” bottle so I painted the Eye Of Ra and painted the bottle in the blue and silver colors they requested.
While thinking of a design for the top portion of the bottle, I decided to paint the customers name with an Egyptian font.
Needless to say the customer was thrilled! I had a lot of fun with this creation!
