A purple design with pale blue arches
This is the most popular selling bottle, the bottle used during the 2nd-5th seasons of the 1960’s TV show I Dream Of Jeannie. The 2nd-5th seasons were filmed in color unlike the first season.
This design is painted on a 1964 Jim Beam Genie Decanter. I paint ONLY on the 1964 decanter, not on imitation glass or ceramic. Which makes this bottle special in it’s own right, it’s 48 years old! The metallic purples I use are beautiful in both sunlight and indoor lighting. The look of the bottle changes depending on the lighting and has a beautiful depth as a result!
There has been much debate as to whether the arches were pale blue or white. Barbara Eden’s original prop bottle that she kept from the show does have very pale blue arches. I had assistance from Barbara Eden’s husband Jon as to the specific colors of her bottle (and the clover design as well). It is a matter of preference. It is believed that back then they would use blue to appear white on the camera. Actual white would appear washed out.
It is hard to notice the pale blue I use, as you can see from the photos. If a little darker blue or stark white is what you prefer, I am happy to change it up for you.
